Every interaction with Rugged Earth has been nothing short of outstanding and the finished product shows the results. This kind of company is highly unusual in the Muskoka’s. Most of the time you get delays, and people who are late if they show up at all. The work effort is often “good enough”.

Our experience was exactly the opposite. They actually ran ahead of schedule. They have a professional landscape architect on staff and she drove the project from envisioning to execution. The operators were extremely skilled and well organized which is important when dealing with boulders and such. They coordinated with 3rd parties like barging companies to ensure the right materials were delivered at the right time for the project to progress (were on an island). This made for a turnkey installation. They were also careful about the things you don’t see - drainage and runoff. Any adjustments to plan were discussed and agreed to through the process. Having said that, there were very few adjustments because the plan was thought through in detail.
